Hello world!

I have not updated this blog in years and really did a horrible job updating it back when I had it running anyway.  This time around, starting in 2015, I plan to have much more consistent and in-detail updates.  As I've stated above, I have lofty goals in 2015 and am more determined than ever to make them happen.

In this blog, I'll write things about my life, poker, travels, and exhilarating/awesome experiences I may have.  Currently, I am in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico and just arrived here about 1 week ago.  This is my first time traveling to PDC since I was a little kid, it's definitely a really interesting place with a lot to do in a cultural beach town with a lot of character.  There is a dance music festival called BPM festival that I attended with my girlfriend, who also plays online poker and travels/lives with me... and many other poker-playing friends that are currently living in PDC or visiting it for this particular festival.  It's been such an amazing time and experience, these are the kind of experiences I am going to remember for the rest of my life and know am going to have some amazing stories for in the future :)  These festivals and shows bring people together unlike anything other things i've ever seen in the world, and I feel lucky to be able to travel and be a part of them.

More importantly though, 2015 is not dedicated to partying or anything.  I have been putting massive study, training, and HH hours into my poker game... and I am feeling as good about my game as ever before.  I have been coming close in many trnys but have quite frequently been coming short of the top 3... My ranking on pocketfives.com in online MTTs currently is #65, but I WILL get to #1 in 2015.

Costa Rica

In Costa Rica for 9 weeks , been a great 8 days since I been out here... Playas Del Coco imo :)

WCOOP Sunday weekend

Haven't posted in this blog for almost like a year now, obv have had a very hectic last few months.. feels amazing to be playing again and I've had a dececnt last week after def not being on my A-game. Only two days left for me really in WCOOP today and Sunday, time to make some big money and go for that bracelet! :)

Feelin good

Haven't posted in a lil bit... but feelin good again, really startin to get very comfortable with my game and think a lot of good things to come! :).... Pretty sick accomplishment for me, shipped the FTP 75k twice in a week, July 31st and last night, Aug 6. To add to the sickness.. my horse, shipped the FTP 75k Aug 5. 3 ships for team illini in one week :)

Very excited cuz of all the larger events and the big series events going on, first 6-fig b4 the end of WCOOP, that's my goal... hopefully can make it happen :)

31 hour session completed

Just finished up a 31 hour session with a 2 hour nap... Ended up being a good session, had 4 FTs w/ two wins

5th in FTP 129 ko
1st in FTP 11 rush turbo
4th in FTP 30r
1st in Stars 100r for 18k

The last one was the big one and felt great even though I mistyped on the last hand ! Been very close to shipping the Stars 100r many, many times and have never done it till now :)

30 hour session

Startin around a 30 hour session (first time for 24 hr+ session)... started at about 4 pm, regging until Wednesday 8pm, may get like 3 hours of sleep at night when there are 0 high stakes trnys for a few hours... follow me on PS, FTP!!
